About Guylan Evans

My greatest satisfaction comes from helping people succeed. I enjoy mentoring and developing people so that they are ready for the next step in their life or career, whether it be in my organization or outside of it. Being in a leadership role with Vail Resorts at an iconic country club in Jackson Hole has afforded me the pleasure of working with an incredibly diverse group of people ranging from international students on work visas, to US and locally based seasonal students, as well as hospitality professionals to long-term, year-round managers and directors. Through coaching and development, I've had the pleasure of seeing team members advance on to other corporate settings or start their own businesses. I have seen many student workers finish college and launch successful careers. I’d like to think I’ve at least played a small part in seeing them through to their next career milestone. I grew up in Montana and graduated from Montana State University. Professionally, I describe myself as a people leader dedicated to hospitality by improving the membership experience at high-end country clubs. I have extensive experience managing teams in all facets of club, hospitality and corporate environments. I am a dedicated leader and have worked my way up through the corporate structure. I have risen to the level of property-specific General Manager, I serve in a Corporate Director level role in charge of enterprise, best practices for 11 other high-end private and daily fee golf clubs within Vail Resorts and I currently sit on the Senior Leadership Team for 5 iconic Wyoming-based hospitality properties. Continuous advancement in Vail Resorts has kept me dedicated and motivated as I truly enjoy taking on new projects and having more responsibilities. I have been entrusted with iconic clubs in a competitive industry and I am driven to continuously improve Vail Resorts by offering our club membership better products, services, amenities and value.
