Having embarked on a distinguished career as an Electronics Engineer at Transnet in South Africa, I assumed the role of Test Engineer, contributing to notable locomotive projects such as the Class 11E, 18E, and 19E. I further honed my expertise in Diesel Locomotives by investing dedicated time in expanding my knowledge base through immersive experiences in prominent locations such as Chicago, Erie (Pennsylvania), and Cumberland, USA. Continuing my professional growth, I progressed to Alstom Transport in South Africa, where I held the esteemed position of Project Validation Manager for the prestigious PRASA X'trapolis Mega passenger train. This role provided me with invaluable international exposure as an expatriate, contributing my expertise in both France and Brazil, thereby enhancing my cross-cultural competencies. Following the successful completion of the Reliability Growth period, I enthusiastically embraced a new challenge at Alstom Australia, assuming the role of V&V Train Systems Engineer for the esteemed Sydney Metro Northwest project. Simultaneously, I am making substantial contributions as the Operations Manager for Sydney in the ongoing Sydney Metro City & Southwest project, further amplifying my impact in this vital endeavor. To further underscore my professional acumen, I proudly hold the distinction of being a registered Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia, an esteemed recognition that attests to my unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of the engineering profession. Beyond my professional pursuits, I nurture a deep passion for aviation, relishing the exhilaration of flying the renowned Piper Cherokee and a diverse range of esteemed Cessna models. Moreover, I find fulfillment in embracing my adventurous spirit through the invigorating pursuit of mountain biking.
