I contribute to shaping the site's editorial direction through strategic planning while managing a team of writers, assigning stories, and producing original content that advances our mission of amplifying African culture and perspectives Before now, as Editor of VENTURES AFRICA, I directed coverage of African business, innovation, culture, and policy while leading a cross-functional team of writers and content developers. With a decade of industry experience, I have earned recognition and honours for my work. I am passionate about storytelling and journalism, having honed these skills through mentorship and fellowships at The Poynter Institute and Yale University. My expertise spans editorial direction, creative writing, and multimedia content creation, with a focus on capturing Africa's diverse and dynamic narratives. Outside work, I express my creativity through art and write memoirs and essays that explore the human experience.
