Hello! I am a multifaceted and ambitious aquatic environmental scientist with over three years of experience in teaching, research, data analysis, water quality assessments, and anthropological studies. I aim to apply environmental scientific research, outreach and policy, and multi-disciplinary approaches to observe and assess water quality and ecosystem biodiversity. With a Master of Science in Aquatic Biology from the University of Waterloo, my career took a transformative turn as a Science Communicator at Science North, where I championed climate change awareness through a nationwide interactive exhibit. We engaged diverse communities and brought science to life, enhancing our outreach with tailored workshops and social media. Previously, as a Research Biologist, my focus was on the ecological mysteries beneath the water's surface, decoding DNA from oligotrophic lakes and translating metadata into visual narratives. My laboratory skills, honed through meticulous research and after-hours lab supervision, are the cornerstone of my commitment to science communication and environmental stewardship. I am a detail-oriented, meticulously organized individual, ready to exemplify my skills and experiences in the field of environmental science.
