About Hadley Leng

My career journey at Standard Bank has been very fulfilling, starting in Corporate and Investment Banking (Trade Services),Personal and Business Banking (Risk), GIA (Group Internal Audit) and my current role in DDV (Data Design and Verification), gave me extensive exposure to different aspects of the bank / financial industry. I love to read and learn about finance, data and the latest technology e.g. Block Chain, Machine Learning, Cloud and App Development.The question you might have is what makes me a very good asset? Data has become the new gold and the ability for organisations to understand and align their people, business process, strategy, systems and the various aspects relating to data is key for an organisation to be relevant and competitive. The following 2 aspects makes me a very good asset in an organisation that will assist the organisation on their data journey to become data driven :1. My internal audit experience, gave me the ability to have a very good understanding of people, business processes, systems and the control environment2. My current role is giving me the experience to understand the various aspects relating to data.
