About Haider Khalid

Currently, I am a PhD candidate (final year) in Computer Science at ADAPT Center, School of Computer Science and Statistics, Trinity College Dublin. My research focuses on “Topic management for human-machine conversational dialogue system with natural language processing”. I am also working as a teaching assistant at Trinity College Dublin. Previously I have worked as an associate software engineer and machine learning intern in Pakistan and China. My research focuses on improving and applying machine learning/AI modelling techniques on textual data to enhance human-machine conversational dialogue systems. It includes data analysis, a neural network for natural language processing, information retrieval/extraction etc. Previously worked on information retrieval and recommender systems, and also I have published research articles in journals, conferences and workshops. Apart from my profession, I enjoy travelling, photography, cooking, international relation and politics and meeting new people from different cultural backgrounds. I also like reading new technologies and studying blockchain and cryptocurrency.
