About Haider Khan

Developing a passion for Astronomy and Astrophysics in my freshman year at university, I decided to major in Physics at LUMS. Graduating in 2022, my undergraduate thesis work honed my skills in computational astronomy and research. Additionally, my selection as a principal candidate for Global UGRAD 2021 allowed me to study at Central Washington University in the US, developing my intercultural communication skills alongside polishing my understanding of astronomy. Moreover, I have the honor of serving as one of the youngest Physics lecturers with the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) in 2023. I have also worked as a teaching assistant for courses like Multi-variable Calculus, Computational Physics, and Linear Algebra. Currently, I am a student of Erasmus Mundus Master in Astrophysics and Space Science studying at the University of Belgrade after completing a semester at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Working as a co-founder of the community services organization, Humanity Edge Portal (HEP), I strive to contribute to humanitarian work in Narowal, my hometown. We have contributed to education and health causes and run various plantation, cleanliness and food drives in the region.
