About Haider Yaqub

Haider W Yaqub has over twenty five years of integrated right based poverty alleviation programing experience in developing countries. He has been extensively involved in providing programmatic support to redress issues which concern children, youth and women in the areas of primary health care, adolescent reproductive health, youth employment, water and sanitation, early childcare, primary and secondary education, strengthening civil society, value chain interventions as well as capacitating public sector organizations to deliver quality services. Haider has a strong focus on organizational learning as part of development work. More recently Haider is focusing on devloping programs where interplay of government regulations, market forces and environmental concerns are taken into account for fullfilment of children's rights and equality for girls.
