About Haifa Eisden

Working for the Curacao Medical Center is a privilege. As the Quality and Safety Coordinator I'm responsible for the quality and safety of all patients that visit our hospital as for all the workers that give there best everyday. Right now CMC is facing the challenge to start his JCI accreditation journey and I'm proud to be leading this. Besides this I'm a certified JCI auditor and I am proud to be the coordinator of the quality and safety department, having 3 quality officers as my co-workers.As the first Quality Officer of the St. Elisabeth Hospital for the laboratory I was privileged to implement the QMS for the lab and we successfully got our accreditation in 2013. Being passionate with my work I became a quality auditor for the ISO 15189, 9001 and 17025. I do audit at different suppliers of laboratory product to see if they work according the different GMP.Besides this I'm a certified auditor for laboratory and medical authorities.At this moment, besides being a quality officer, I am currently the head of the clinical chemical department. This means that I have to do people management, make sure the department give the best service to all physicians by giving accurate results.I'm part of different commissions acting as adviser when it comes to quality and processes.
