I graduated from Morningside University in May 2021, however my communications and journalism career started while attending University. While attending Morningside, I was the co-editor of the university's newspaper, the Collegiate Reporter, and worked for the campus television station, MCTV as a reporter, anchor, and producer. I also worked in the Admissions Office at Morningside University all 4 years of college as a Student Ambassador where I met with prospect students and their families to help them make an informed decision on post-secondary education goals. Apart from my campus involvement I worked as a Customer Support Representative at Drilling Pharmacy in Sioux City. At the pharmacy my duties included patient care, communicating with patients in an informed and professional way, as well as working hand and hand with physicians and insurance agencies to provide the care Drilling's patients deserved. In my last year at Drilling Pharmacy I assisted in creating content for their social media accounts and creating promotional videos of their gift shop. Since graduating I accepted a position with NBC affiliate, KTIV News 4, in Sioux City, Iowa where I started as a Multi-Media Journalist, and was soon after promoted to the Weekend Weather Anchor with journalistic duties. As a journalist I am required to work under extreme pressure with time sensitive deadlines, and communicating with a large audience both on the air and through social media. After leaving the news industry, I currently work as the Content Marketing Manager for Imaging Brands in Phoenix Arizona. My job duties include connect and working with the company's existing Pro Team and professionals in the field of photography, managing the organizations social media platforms, creating content for internal and external use, and managing the company's newsletters. This job allows me to showcase my exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills while connecting with creators from all across the globe! I am looking to further my communications career with a company that has strong values, high energy, and will allow me to grow both professionally and personally.
