About Hailey Bixler

My favorite part of coding is bugs. Labelling them, dissecting them, and squashing them. Every bug is a unique puzzle, and finding an elegant yet simple solution fuels my passion for software engineering.I’ve worked with both the frontend and backend in various languages, though I’m most comfortable with Vue.js and PHP. I spent two years building the quizzes section of a research platform from the ground up, where I created five interconnected data models with custom API routes for the web pages I coded with Vue.js. After this website was completed, I spent a summer at Hudl, where my contributions across three different repositories required me to learn React and Redux.I am always seeking new opportunities to learn and grow in the tech industry. My ideal workplace is one where I love not only what I do, but also why I’m doing it. Everywhere technology is revolutionizing our way of life, there are myriads of bugs waiting to be squashed.
