Background
About Hailey Clarke
I am an ambitious and solutions-seeking University of British Columbia (BA Honours Political Science) and University of Oxford (MPhil Development Studies) graduate that is passionate about making a positive difference through policy, journalism, and research on both a local and national level. I am currently an environmental journalist at Carbon Pulse with a special interest in international development, climate change, climate-based litigation, Indigenous rights, and political theory. Beyond journalism, my passion for volunteering and civic engagement has led me to become a WEF Global Shaper, a TEDx speaker, representative in the B.C. Youth Parliament, lead national policy competitions, and be an advocate for global issues, such as climate change and mental health, that are affecting our collective future.
