Hi, My name is Hailey Cordova! I'm Mexican American, born and raised in Austin Texas. I’m energetic and have a big personality. People who have met me often describe me as a people person. I care about people very deeply, I'm extremely empathic and hardworking. On my free time I enjoy the gym, music and cars. I am currently a supervisor for the waterpark front desk at Kalahari Resorts and Convention Center. I started working with the company in my senior year of high school, with my work ethic and ability to learn concepts very fast after 4 months I was promoted to lead and soon after supervisor. After graduating high school, I attended the University of North Texas to obtain my bachelor’s degree in business. I fell in love with business and moved on to purse a career in Real Estate. While working at Kalahari I am able to apply my knowledge of business to my everyday skills. Being able to understand the business side of operations while collaborating with so many different departments, and getting to meet so many new people whether it was the guests or employees I fell in love with hospitality. Recently I’ve been navigating through adulthood, I have found that I’m at a point in my career and life where being challenged and taking on new responsibilities brings me so much excitement and motivation. I found myself open to more opportunities that would help me grow professionally as a young adult. Witnessing my parents struggle in poverty while I was growing up gave me the dedication to work hard to overcome any obstacles and be successful in everything I do.
