Hailey Krychman

Background

About Hailey Krychman

I am a writer and producer who is passionate about providing a creative platform for individuals whose voices are not heard by mainstream media. Whether it’s analyzing trends in popular culture in online publications like Rough Draft and HerCampus, producing a short film highlighting the comedic day-to-day of graduate students, creating a podcast with young adults with disabilities, I strive to tell compelling stories shedding light on new points of view across multiple media platforms. In addition to writing and producing my own content, I applied my strong writing skills as the Assistant to the Executive Editor for the Posen Library in Montreal, as an English Tutor for a sixth-grade student, and also as an Editor for McGill University’s Department of English journal, The Channel. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant for an Internship course at Ryerson University’s school of Radio and Television Arts. On the rare occasion I’m not working or studying, I love traveling (particularly to Europe, where I can revisit memories of my semester abroad), practicing yoga, and watching movies that will only inspire future projects and articles. I’m dynamic, always open to new experiences, challenges, and learning new skills within the media industry. Send an InMail or an email to hkrychman@ryerson.ca if you have a career opportunity or project I can contribute to.
