Background

About Hailey Paulsen

I am a junior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, and I am currently working on a degree in Business Analytics with a concentration in Information Management. I am a people-oriented person who thrives in both independent and collaborative working environments. My time as an Assistant Location Manager at Cinemark Theaters provided me with many opportunities to excel in tasks both assigned to me as well as ones assigned to my team. I also possess incredibly strong interpersonal skills. These skills have allowed me to excel in my current role as an Office Assistant for the University of Tennessee Housing Program where I am tasked with constant interaction and collaboration with building residents, University staff, coworkers, and supervisors. Over the next few years, I hope to expand on both my educational and professional data analytics experience. Upon earning my undergraduate degree, I plan to pursue a master’s degree in Business Analytics. This decision stems from my passion for leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and my desire to play a pivotal role in the evolving landscape of analytics. Within the next few years, I hope to gain valuable and focused experience in the field of data analytics in order to better prepare myself for both my education and my career.
