About Hailey Ramsey

I am a Cardiology Technician at Virginia Heart, where I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care. My role includes preparing patients for cardiac procedures, performing routine stress tests, running EKGs, measuring blood pressure, and assisting with nuclear tracer and vasodilator tests. In December 2024, I graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S.Ed. in Kinesiology and a minor in Biology. During my time at UVA, I gained valuable hands-on experience working as a Rehab Tech at UVA Outpatient Pediatric Therapy, where I supported patient rehabilitation and therapy programs. I also served as an undergraduate research assistant in the Kinesiology department, contributing to research on physical activity and health outcomes. Beyond academics, I was an active member of the UVA community. I held a leadership position on the executive board of the EdCouncil, volunteered through Madison House and Martha Jefferson Hospital, and supported the MS Society. Additionally, as a NASM-certified personal trainer and a member of the UVA Powerlifting Team and Barbell Club, I integrated my passion for fitness and wellness into both my personal and professional life. I am open to clinical volunteer opportunities and look forward to connecting with others in the healthcare field.
