About Hailey Tabbert

I’m a neurophysiology researcher with experience spanning academic research, teaching, mentorship, and community engagement. At Ontario Tech University, I’ve contributed to projects exploring the neural mechanisms of motor control, proprioception, and sensorimotor integration, while also developing innovative analytical and coding approaches to advance our work. As a Teaching Assistant and mentor, I’m passionate about making complex neuroscience concepts accessible and inspiring curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific rigor in the next generation of researchers. My academic journey has been recognized through competitive scholarships and awards, and my research has been shared in peer-reviewed publications and international conferences. Beyond the lab, I’m committed to applying my expertise in meaningful ways, from initiatives supporting individuals with Parkinson’s disease to outreach programs encouraging young women in STEM. At the heart of my work is a dedication to advancing our understanding of the human brain, fostering collaboration, and using science to make a real-world impact.
