About Hakan Ottosson

I have a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and a background in Medicinal Chemistry research in the pharmaceutical industry. In recent years I’ve been working with chemical synthesis, I also have, for many years, been working with IT. Within the pharmaceutical industry, I was employed in a research department where my main focus was on drug development and production related issues. Regulatory issues concerning intraocular lenses were a part of my responsibilities too. I have a good ability to find constructive, well structured solutions to unstructured, complex problems. I value creativity and having influence. I’m also a theoretically influenced doer. To be a team member and share others experiences and ideas is natural to me. Also, I like to share my experiences and point of view. A strong driving force in me is to find and make use of new valuable knowledge. I enjoy spending my leisure time with my two children. To ski, both cross-country and downhill, and go hiking in the mountains are also great joy. I am a highly qualified and experienced chemist, with a well-developed ability to find constructive well-structured solutions to unstructured, complex problem, together with extensive knowledge and experience of computer systems. My logical mind makes it easy for me to understand and handle data.
