About Hal Berliner

As the EY Americas Banking & Capital Markets leader, I am focused on bringing exceptional client service quality, and valued insights to audit committees, boards and C-suite executives for the Audit practice. With more than 20 years of experience serving clients, including some of the firm’s largest global accounts, I previously served as the US-West Region Banking and Capital Markets Assurance Leader, where I oversaw the growing FinTech practice. I also have extensive experience with initial public offerings (IPOs). Earlier in my career, as the Financial Services Industry IPO Leader, I provided audit and advisory services to clients with a focus on the SEC’s financial reporting requirements and IPO readiness. Originally from New York, I relocated to the Bay area in 2019. I am an avid traveler, and enjoy hitting the road and exploring the West with my family.
