About Hal Crownover

After obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Texas at San Antonio, I became a certified special educator and began teaching in San Antonio. My personal focus has been on developing my communication and advocacy skills with families as well as my literacy teaching skills, and ensuring that all students I work with and case manage have their needs met. I have ample experience in the cultivation of customized accommodations, goals, as part of individualized education plans, as well as co-creating safe, supportive learning environments with my general education counterparts; spaces where all students can succeed. I am incredibly passionate about this work, and am equally as passionate about the content and learning that I facilitate.
