I have 20+ years of Domestic and International Engineering, Sales, and Operations experience in multi-cultural environments for Metal Stamping, Fabrication, Machining, Assembly, and Semiconductor industries with proven success. I have been responsible for numerous capital projects from concept, approval, funding and installation. I have handle diverse and multiple levels of responsibility ranging from launching new production operations (foreign and domestic), to planning and executing new business growth and development ventures. As business owner in the metal stamping, fabrication, and assembly industry for 15 years I have extensive Sales, and Customer Relations experience. I have traveled extensively in Mexico and Asia as part of my responsibilities as an engineer, manager and director. I have completed and worked as a tool and die maker before entering into tooling design and later into engineering management. I am trained as a 6-Sigma LEAN Manufacturing Black Belt from Acuity Institute. I implemented the Visual Factory systems in company operations. I am experienced in domestic and international Union, Non-Union, multi-shift labor environments. I am a highly-capable and versatile manager able to oversee multiple, concurrent and senior-level projects at one time. In my position as Director of Engineering for Rubicon Technology I worked in development and processing Sapphire substrates for the LED and micro-chip industries.
