About Hal Rosser

Hal is a founder (2010) and Managing Partner of Rosser Capital Partners (“RCP”). Prior to joining RCP Hal co-founded and served as Managing Director of Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co.(“BRS”)(1995) and previously was a Managing Director at Citicorp Venture Capital (“CVC”). During his 30 plus year private equity investing career, Hal has led controlling investments in numerous companies including 19 investments in the restaurant sector. Transactions at CVC, BRS and RCP have totaled billions in purchase price and 70+ in number. Hal spent his formative years as a banker at Citicorp/Citibank in various management and corporate finance functions in the U.S. and Internationally. Hal received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Clarkson University. In addition he completed Management Development programs at Carnegie-Mellon University and Stanford University Business School. Hal currently serves as a Director of Skillets Holdings. He was previously a director of Steak & Ale Restaurants, Davco, Corral America, Restaurant Associates, Head & Enquist, Penhall, B&G Foods, Alco Health (AmerisourceBergen), Remington Arms, California Pizza Kitchen, Real Mex, Penhall, Au Bon Pain, IlFornaio/ Corner Bakery, McCormick & Schmick’s, Marshall Retail Group, Wilson Farms, Brio Bravo Restaurant Group, Logan’s Roadhouse, Ruth’s Hospitality Group, Barteca Holdings- Barcelona and bartaco, Hickory Tavern and Pet People Holdings. He currently serves as a Life Trustee at Wake Forest University, Trustee Emeritus at the Culinary Institute of America and Board and Executive Committee Member of the New Canaan Society. Hal lives in Naples, FL and Charlotte, NC.
