Provide policy consultation and advisory services to conservation organizations and Alaska Native Villages related to: Water and natural resource management and protection, fish and wildlife protection, human rights, sovereignty, fund raising and environmental justice issues; Conduct webinars and make presentations on the topic of climate change adaption planning, water resources management and policy; Collect water quality and discharge data; research, and develop water resources planning documents and instream flow water reservation applications; Research, data collection and monitoring related to: Certified instream flow water right under state & federal law; Installing checking and recording data from stream gage sites in remote cites in the Arctic region of Alaska often under adverse climatic and other conditions. Conduct Watershed Assessments that: Provide information on watershed characteristics, waterbody conditions, sources, and pollutant loads (for specific waterbodies and pollutants; Identify protected uses of the waterbody and associated water quality standards Promote Hydrologically Based Instream Flows that: Maintain integrity of flowing water systems and natural dynamic character; Water Temperature, channel geomorphology & habitat diversity; More accurate measurement of ecological consequences of flow regime modification. Knowledge of Alaska's and arctic coastal communities, natural environments, subsistence uses and climate adaptation; a strong understanding of climate and coastal sciences, particularly as they relate to community adaptation and resilience and community/public engagement and outreach experience. Conduct trainings and make presentations in the areas of climate change adaption planning and mitigation as they relate to water resource and fish and wildlife habitat management and protection, tribal sovereignty, arctic policy and human rights.
