About Hala Ibrahim

As the Senior Director of Quality Improvement at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, I lead a team of over 55 employees to design, implement, and evaluate clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives across five states. I have over 15 years of experience in healthcare management, HEDIS Operations, NCQA Accreditation and healthcare information technology, with credentials in case management, Medicine, and business administration. My mission is to improve the health outcomes and satisfaction of our members, providers, and stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. I have successfully increased our Medicare star rating and Medicaid incentive award, as well as our HEDIS scores, by cultivating strong relationships with diverse groups and applying innovative and cost-effective solutions. Some of the programs I have developed or maintained include asthma, COPD, diabetes, CHF, oncology, chronic kidney disease, and obstructive sleep apnea. I also leverage my expertise in public health and epidemiology to analyze data, monitor trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
