About Haley Ammons Perry

I am an optometrist, practice owner, and Senior Manager of Professional Affairs with EssilorLuxottica, working at the intersection of clinical care, professional education, and innovation in eyecare. My career began in private practice, where I built and continue to lead Elite Eye Care in Arden, North Carolina. Practicing at the front lines of patient care has shaped how I approach every professional conversation - with a deep understanding of the real clinical, operational, and leadership challenges doctors and their teams face each day.In my role with EssilorLuxottica, I focus on engaging eye care professionals through education, collaboration, and meaningful dialogue around the future of our profession. My work centers on supporting evidence-based clinical adoption, strengthening professional partnerships, and helping translate innovation into practical solutions that improve patient outcomes.I am particularly passionate about topics including dry eye disease, ocular surface health, peri-surgical care, and the evolving role of optometry in delivering comprehensive patient-centered care.Across both industry and practice, my goal remains the same: helping advance eyecare while supporting doctors and teams who are committed to raising the standard of care for their patients.
