About Haley Bangert

My favorite and most significant title is mom to my two-year-old daughter who is growing up in the beautiful city of Denver, just like her Mama. Outside of our fantasy world at home, I am building an identity, professionally, as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Entrepreneur, and Bodywork Instructor. Massage Therapist I was totally disconnected from my body and had no awareness of how I could have influence over my own health, let alone anyone else’s, when I applied for massage school in 2018. I now communicate best through touch, enjoy sharing loving and therapeutic touch, and educate as often as possible about the potential that our touch has on each other. Some highlights in my educational background in Massage include a 650-hour licensure program from The Berkana Institute, Prenatal and Perinatal Specialization training from Body Therapy Education, Cupping Therapy and Myofascial Technique from The Berkana Institue and Mindful Expressionism training in Lumbar and Psoas from Jill Berkana. I love Massage and I’m exactly where I need to be. As I grow in this profession, my goal is to become more involved in research. I plan to design, conduct, and publish a case study based on my work. Entrepreneur Colorado Massage Company opened in 2019. I began building my brand as a holistic massage practice for young professionals and families in Denver, while I was still in school. The focus of my practice is deep relaxation and stress relief. I built the business on an educational foundation because not only does knowledge of the body’s processes have a potentially powerful impact on my craft, but on anyone with a body! I use my education to grow my business, refine my technique, and share with my community. My goals for Colorado Massage Company include growing my professional network and growing my practice to include more skilled therapists in the future. Bodywork Instructor I began as the Massage Therapy Foundations II Instructor in the Spring of 2023 at the Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy and I love it! I am challenged by the dynamics that teaching different adult personalities brings. I am also intrigued by the influence that teaching has on my private practice. As I grow in this position, some of my goals include, taking on more opportunities in the teaching role, intentionally making time to learn about the art of teaching from educators, and refining my lesson plan for our incoming class.
