I have a Master's degree in Criminal Justice & Public Administration from University at Albany, SUNY, where I also completed a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Sociology. As a Human Resources Specialist at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc, I apply my HR technical skills and leadership and navigation competencies to support the organization's human capital needs and goals. In my current role, I work with managers and employees to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, handle employee relations issues, and provide guidance on performance management and career development. I also contribute to the recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of talent, as well as the administration of benefits and compensation. I am passionate about creating a positive and inclusive work environment, where everyone can thrive and grow. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have a background in criminal justice, research, and social sciences, and I have obtained multiple certifications, including SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
