About Haley Devney

I graduated from Midland University in December of 2017 with bachelor’s degrees in psychology, sociology, and criminal justice. I also became a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician in May of 2018 and possess an EMT license in the state of Nebraska. I completed my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at University of Nebraska Omaha on August 12, 2022. My clinical experience as an intern included risk assessment and level of care assessment at Immanuel Medical Center in the ED, individual psychotherapy at Perceptions Therapy, and a combination of one-to-one psychotherapy and group therapy at Lasting Hope Recovery Center. My work experience has primary consisted of working as an emergency medical technician in the ED at Memorial Community Hospital and now working as a Mental Health Specialist at Nebraska Medicine in the psychiatric ER. I believe that physical health and mental health are strongly impacted by one another, and it is important to treat the client using a wholistic approach.
