About Haley Norman

I began my career journey by pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I had recently uncovered a true fascination for understanding the deeper thoughts, feelings and experiences that are unique to each person on this planet, and I truly cared for and wanted to help people live their best lives. I always thought I would pursue a doctorate program and become a mental health counselor, however during my application process to several universities, I landed a job which I saw as a temporary means to a living at the time. When I accepted the training and development coordinator position at Factual Data, I didn't realize just how much I would enjoy it, and that it would end up changing my path. I have genuinely enjoyed being a part of an excellent, tight knit team who have been so supportive to my role. I have been able to learn and grow immensely, leveling up my presentation skills greatly in all aspects from speaking to visual aids. I am able to use my knowledge of psychology to work closely with people and help them to learn job skills and gain confidence quickly in the ways that are best for them. And in addition, I am able to indulge my creativity when planning out trainings and developing visual aids or fully self paced courses for online learning groups. Beyond this I have also gained experience in managing others and and my self, as my role has minimal supervision. I am easily capable of self direction and very productive in this type of environment. While my current experience has been wonderful and I do enjoy my position, I am looking for much larger growth opportunities. My goals are to apply myself fully and use the great potential I have to attain a position within a training department that fulfills my sense of purpose, allowing me feel that I am genuinely improving employees experience at the company and setting them up for the utmost success in their role. As is presented here, I am a very positive, motivated and friendly type of person. I get along easily with everyone I meet, and I do love meeting lots of people!
