I have over 20 years of some type of customer service experience, ranging from food service to retail to medical. For 14 years I have worked as a phlebotomist. The first 7 years was working at Biolife Plasma Services, this is were I have completed over draws. The next 7 years I have worked at Metro Health-University of Michigan Health Hospital as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician. Also, I have 7 years teaching at Blue Heron Academy as their Phlebotomy Instructor and a Proctor for the NHA CPT exam. Thru teaching I can show my students what Phlebotomy is and how much I love doing it. Not only is this my career but this is my passion in life. I worked at BioReference Laboratories and have been with them for a year. I was hired in as a Phlebotomy Supervisor. Started out on a project for MDOC, Michigan Department of Corrections, doing COVID swabbing of prison staff and inmates. Once that project slowed down and my company wasn't needed I was switched over to RCG, Royal Caribbean Group, doing COVID swabbing on cruise ships. My title is now Ship Supervisor.
