As a Senior Event Manager at Cottingham & Butler, I have honed my skills in event planning, negotiation, and logistics management, bringing extensive experience to each event I oversee. With a passion for creating seamless and memorable experiences, I am responsible for developing and sending out detailed RFPs, negotiating with vendors, and securing the best rates for venues and services. I also manage event communications, oversee registration, and ensure that all event logistics are executed flawlessly, from food and beverage selection to A/V coordination. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset, successfully managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships to stay within budget and deliver exceptional events. With a background in talent buying and marketing, including my previous roles at Romeo Entertainment Group and Neste Event Marketing, I bring a well-rounded understanding of event production, client relations, and marketing strategy. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Leisure, Youth, and Human Services from the University of Northern Iowa, along with certifications including the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and CVENT Event Management. I am proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CVENT, and excel at multitasking and problem-solving under pressure.
