About Haley Wehberg

Haley is a former Division 1 student-athlete, majoring in Media and Communications, and double minoring in Economics and Entrepreneurship at UMBC. She is pursuing a career as an entrepreneur who also has interest in sales and real estate.Haley graduated high school from Maryvale Preparatory in 2021 as an honor roll student who also received multiple varsity letters in Soccer, Cross Country, Indoor Track and Field, and Lacrosse. Throughout high school, she was a part of the Leadership Certificate Program, participation by application and interview. Senior year she took on a Capstone project, focusing on “Imposter Syndrome” and how it is prevalent in young girls and adult women in the work force. In 2018, she participated in the “Girls Who Code Conference”, an organization whose focus is to close the gender gap in the field of technology. Her team was selected to attend this one-day conference, showcasing their topic of using coding to reduce pollution in the Chesapeake Bay. This event was delivered to the MD Governor, Larry Hogan. Extracurricular activity involvement at Maryvale Prep also included participating as a member of the One Love Club, focusing on educating young people on healthy relationships. She was also a member of the Environmental and FCA clubs. During her freshman year at UMBC, she was selected as a class representative for the leadership members of her lacrosse team. She is highly motivated, competitive, displays strong leadership and communication, and thrives in fast-paced and challenging environments.
