About Haley Young

I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, United States and graduated from Mentor High School in 2016. After taking a gap year to travel, I found myself interested in the United Kingdom as I returned numerous times. This influenced my decision to attend the University of Greenwich to complete a four-year Business Management bachelor’s course in the fall of 2017. In spring 2021 I completed my course and was rewarded a first-class degree. Upon completing my course, I went back to the United States to apply for a partner’s visa with my long-term boyfriend, we have since been approved and bought a home in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. One of my biggest interests include cross-cultural and international studies. I am always intrigued by meeting people from other countries and can spend hours listening to their views and customs. This inspired my dissertation which focused on the hypothetical situation of an American fast-food chain expanding into the United Kingdom and analysing the cultural barriers the company would encounter. Overall, I consider myself an adaptable, go-getter person and I am excited to see where my journey takes me next!
