She is a Past Chair of the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals (CAAMP) and a Past President of the Mortgage Brokers Association of British Columbia (MBABC) after having served two consecutive terms as the MBABC President. Hali’s many industry-related memberships include the Mortgage Investment Association of BC (MIABC) and Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA), both of which she served as a Director, the BC MIC Managers Association (BCMMA), the Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association (AMBA) and Victoria Real Estate Board, the British Columbia Real Estate Association and the Canadian Real Estate Association. Her responsibilities at Fisgard include business development, residential and commercial mortgage underwriting, investor and borrower relations, risk assessment and project and performance draw inspections. She is Fisgard’s liaison with the mortgage brokerage community and conventional lending institutions. Hali is a sought after presenter and panelist on the topic of Private and Alternative Lending. In November 2014 Hali was inducted into the Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame, in 2013 she was named one of WXN Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women (Trailblazer & Trendsetter) and received the 2010 MBABC Pioneer Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Mortgage Industry among numerous other awards and recognitions. Hali is the youngest female inductee into the Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame and recipient of the the MBABC Pioneer Award.
