Profile Summary** I am a dedicated and accomplished medical professional with a career spanning over two decades in the field of General Surgery. I graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1994 and completed my specialization in General Surgery at Istanbul University, becoming a board-certified specialist in I have continuously advanced my academic career, achieving the titles of Associate Professor in 2010 and Professor in 2015. My expertise lies in Laparoscopic and Robotic Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery. I had the privilege of enhancing my skills and knowledge through observer roles at renowned institutions, including the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio (2004, 2007, and 2012) and the Department of Diabetes Surgery at Cornell University School of Medicine in 2014. In addition to my clinical practice, I completed an Executive MBA from Bahçeşehir University in 2022. I have served as an instructor and consultant for major medical companies, including Johnson & Johnson Ethicon EMEA EndoSurgery, Medtronic, and Baxter Turkey. I currently split my time between Istanbul and London. I am married to Prof. Dr. Berna Uslu Coşkun and am the proud father of Alya Coşkun.
