About Halil H.

Coming to America in from Bosnia, a war-torn country, my parents’ goal was to provide my sister and I with a better future and with opportunities we would never have had in Bosnia. When we came to Kansas City, I knew this would become my new home. I was able to achieve my goal and become the first in my family to graduate with an Associates of Arts degree from Metropolitan Community College and finished my studying with a Bachelor's degree at Park University in Human Resources and minor in Marketing. Throughout my education, my desire for success allowed me to find some great mentors and it’s because of them that I have been able to get as far as I have. One of the hardest things to overcome is losing everything and having to start from square one. I know firsthand about the pain and all the emotions felt when everything you’ve worked so hard for is gone without warning. Now I have the opportunity to provide peace of mind to people because I’m committed to provide the best possible service to everyone I come across. Finally, one last thing I’d like to share with you. A while ago I was introduced to a word by one of my mentors that changed the way I approach opportunities. The word is Kaizen, which means continuous improvement in a systematic way that allows for efficiency and quality. The basis of Kaizen can be applied to all aspects of life.
