Basic duties: Evaluate healthcare-acquired infections by conducting prospective surveillance. Monitor ongoing infections to verify adequate data collection, control procedures, and current staff interventions. Lead Infection control related projects. Coordinate successfully and with full compliance to prevent infections according to the facility, MOH, CBAHI, and Joint Commission standards. Identify and mitigate unnecessary infection risks through regular reviews and procedural assessments. Review IC-related policies to improve the success of infection control measures in departments. Conduct environmental care rounds and participate in the facility's multidisciplinary rounds. Prepare, analyze, and internally publish IC reports. Member of facility's CUSP projects. Member of Management of change committee.
