About Halina Kot

Halina Kot currently holds the position of Workforce Manager for the CIES Program covering five geographical service areas: Holyoke, Springfield, Southbridge, Orange and Fitchburg. She has been with CPM for seven years, during which she has assumed multiple leadership positions, including HiSET Instructor/Case Manager serving parenting teens through the Young Parents Program contract. She was subsequently promoted to an Education & Careers Lead, a role in which she excelled at forming cohorts for employment at MGM Springfield and later promoted to Workforce Manager. Through her years of experience working with Department of Transitional Assistance clients, she has become proficient in all DTA policies and procedures, including billing systems for YPP and CIES, trained in database systems and entering. She brings to the management team a strong track-record of forming community partnerships with employers and social service agencies, developing program operational systems and grants exploration. She is currently involved as a CEO of Almsgiving, building community programs that will help homeless and low-income families become self-sufficient. Halina’s B.A. is from Elms College with a concentration in applied behavior analysis.
