Background I’ve always been drawn to the travel industry, starting with guiding adventure seekers down whitewater in Colorado. My passion for international exchange and sustainable travel practices flourished during my undergrad, leading me to Expedia, where I helped develop their first Green Hotel Database. The call of wanderlust then took me to New Zealand, where I worked in hospitality across the South Island while exploring sustainable travel firsthand. After earning my Master of Tourism Management at Colorado State University, I spent five incredible years with Semester at Sea, building products and improving processes to enhance comparative study abroad experiences. After a brief stint at a Colorado-based OTA start-up, supporting enterprise accounts and creating user-centric solutions I have landed at my dream company, American Express Global Business Travel. Here I have the opportunity to pull my experiences from corporate, higher-ed, non-profit and start-up travel fields to propel business travel and travel tech into the future. Strengths Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to understanding client goals and pain points, using creativity to deliver solutions that drive both business success and client satisfaction. Authentic relationship-building has allowed me to gain trust, uncover deeper issues, and collaborate on meaningful solutions. I excel in identifying inefficiencies and developing streamlined processes and products for internal and external stakeholders. My recent certifications in AI and Product Management from Product School demonstrate my hunger for learning and passion for emerging tech. I specialize in making complex travel technologies approachable, ensuring clients are equipped to succeed. As a collaborative leader, I believe in celebrating team wins, mentoring growth, and always learning from opportunities. Direction I am excited to grow professionally at the largest TMC and SaaS company in the travel tech industry. While enhancing my Smartsheet credibility and AI skills, I hope to create forward thinking scalable implementation solutions and eventually take part in the travel transformation leveraging AI and Agentic AI.
