About Halyna Posenko

At the moment, I am the PR manager of Academ.City project, the largest startup from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. As part of my work, I organize and support various events: from local webinars to international conferences. Today Academ.City is an platform that connects scientists, entrepreneurs and experts to involve the scientific community and academic infrastructure into business processes. At different times in my professional career, I have co-organized and coordinated music festivals (Chaika Rock Festival, Global East, The Best City), hosted events with international speakers in the Chasopys Creative Space under the leadership of Max Yakover, and helped startups enter the market. With my help, the world learned about the Kabanchik service. Chasopys also hosted hackathons, one of which was "Programmers will help IDPs from Donbas", supported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) and the Ukraine Confidence Building Initiative (UCBI) project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). For a long time, I have been the organizer of many all-Ukrainian cycling competitions held under the auspices of the Kyiv Cycling Federation. I am currently involved in the organization of the Hackathon, which will be held jointly by the Kyiv Academic University and the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy "BE FIRST: Future of Innovation, Resilience, Security, Technology“, as well as the CloudEARTHi conference ”Innovations for a Sustainable Future" in Wroclaw (Poland).
