About Hamad Karous

I hold a double master's degree in chemistry at the University of Liège (2011 and 2015). The first master was with a depth approach for research in chemistry and the second master was with a teaching focus. After my first master I worked on the development of organic solar cells and lithium organic batteries. I am currently a Research Assistant at the departement of chemistry of University of Liège. I have a particular interest in the teaching aspects of science. My research focuses on the assess of preconceptions and on the development of students conceptions of chemistry learning. My goal is to set up a scientific modelling process to develop the skills of students in construction, reproduction and use of scientific models. In parallel, I did a lot of statistics in several fields (educational, scientific, psychological.) using different programs (R, SAS, Satistica, SPSS).
