I’m seeking a Research & Development Engineer, TPO product development or Senior Polymer Scientist role at top automotive, polymer manufacturing and plastic companies and am the perfect fit for these roles because I have the following skills: experimental design, characterization, cross-functional collaboration, project management, and stakeholder management. I have collaborated professionally with leading minds in the industry leveraging expertise in polymer science, thermoplastic polyolefins, and structure/property relations for major environmental issues including bio-based, biodegradable plastics, and polymer recycling, resulting in 5 stakeholders, KOL and advisor interactions and projects. I can also work with colleagues in other functional areas specializing in plastic and rubber compounding, polymer additives, as evidenced by 4 collaborations/interactions including collaborations with scientists globally and industrial internships. I have leveraged my deep understanding and technical knowledge in documentation, safety, and the appropriate handling of materials evidenced by effective polymer laboratory management and mentoring 12 professionals, establishing a polymer properties lab for research and education, and ensuring compliance with strict industrial safety standards. In addition, I have the following qualifications: Project management expertise with experience leading projects in TPO compounds, bio-based polymer structure and property, polymeric nanofoams, polymer crystallization and properties, expanded polypropylene bead technology, as evidenced by 10 projects. Expertise in polymer physics and processing with focused application on environmental solutions, including plastic waste recycling/upcycling, and natural polymers as a solution for environmental challenges like wastewater treatment resulting in 15 publications. Strong communication skills and advanced polymer characterization and structure-property analysis for innovative processing techniques to deliver 7 impactful presentations at prestigious conferences, including ACS, APS, NATAS, and ISPST.
