Experienced SCADA Engineer and Project Manager with a strong technical and leadership background in power system automation, currently serving as SCADA system engineer under Mainstream Energy Solutions—the largest hydropower renewable energy operator in West Africa. My professional journey began as an Electrical Site Engineer during the rehabilitation of the 80MW 1G7 unit and has since grown into a strategic role overseeing SCADA operations, architecture upgrades, and project coordination across the Kainji, Jebba and Zungeru hydropower plants.I specialize in SCADA/DCS system integration, real-time monitoring, control system optimization, and infrastructure modernization. I've implemented projects focused on alarm system upgrades, control room improvements, real-time MW display integration, and grid-compliant communication systems—helping enhance plant reliability and performance.I’ve represented Mainstream Energy Solutions Limited on key technical missions, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and site commissioning activities in collaboration with international OEMs such as General Electric, Andritz Hydro, ABB and Power China, further deepening my expertise in utility-scale automation systems.As a certified professional in Hydropower Sustainability (Hydropower Alliance) and Solar PV Systems (GIZ), I’m deeply passionate about the intersection of renewable energy, sustainable development, and smart grid technologies.
