About Hamid Bohloli

Hamid Bohloli is the book's author entitled "The Public Policy Process in the Revolutionary Context. He is a professional in public policy and health politics with a background in Medicine (Medically Qualified Doctor). He has participated in the Health Reform Community of the World Bank, Washington Dc, USA,1998, and program of The Managed Care in the Harvard University He has supervised the national project for the reengineering of the Iranian Ministry of Health (1994-1998) and many other national-level health development projects and research. Later, He moved to the UK for PhD study and developed a new angle of Memetics and the concept of sociocultural evolution by Prof. Peter John and Prof. Steve Harrison during his PhD research at the University of Manchester to understand how ideas transmission affects policies. He defined the third influential entity of cultural evolution (apart from Meme and Natural Selection Mechanism) as a new concept of cultural energy. Dr Bohloli taught at the University of Manchester and Tehran University for a few years and currently is living in the UK as an independent international policy consultant. Dr Bohloli as a research strategist is capable of designing a wide range of research from the qualitative to quantitative but with powerful capability on the qualitative research method from either inductive perspective towards theory building or deductive one to apply and test the existing theories and concepts. He has contributed a new "Research Geography" term to the research literature to recognise the research situation. Dr Bohloli's areas of interest are Public Policy, Social and Health Policy Analysis, Future Study, Cultural Evolution, Memetics, Qualitative Research Methods, Computerised Data Analysis, Middle Eastern Studies, Control of Environment Policies, Green World Technologies, Organisational Theory & Reengineering, Social Change and Development, International Business Development.
