About Hamid Shams

In 2017, I kicked off my career as a Sales and Management Trainee at Apparel Group, followed by a similar role at Al Shaya in 2018. By 2019, I had stepped into the spotlight as a Brand Ambassador for Monviso, eventually climbing to Business Development and Marketing Executive. Somewhere along the way, I discovered a love for marketing-partially through jobs and partially by bingeing paid and free courses both online and offline (thank you, internet!). In 2020, I joined SOCIATE as a Marketing Intern, where I got promoted to Marketing and Content Executive within three months. For the next three years, I immersed myself in the dynamic world of a marketing agency-creating content, mastering public relations (yes, I can say it twice without breaking a sweat), maintaining client relationships, and learning to juggle multiple tasks with flair. Fast forward to late 2023, I stepped into the role of Digital Marketing Executive at Jigsaw Marketing. I’m now the main POC for DMCC’s Made for Trade international roadshows, working across social media, landing pages, digital campaigns, and everything else that keeps the marketing machine running. So far in 2024, I’ve already contributed to flagship events like the Dubai Precious Metals Conference, Dubai Diamond Conference, and Kimberley Process events. It's been a whirlwind of creativity, strategy, and occasional caffeine-fueled brilliance-just how I like it.
