About Hamida Choudhury

As a 2ic Science, KS3 Coordinator at Mulberry School for Girls, I am responsible for leading and managing the science curriculum and pedagogy for Key Stage 3, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and supporting the professional development of science teachers. I also collaborate with external partners, such as the Tower Hamlets Education Partnership (THEP), to deliver STEM-related CPDs and events for students and staff. I have a strong passion for science education and a rich academic background in biomedical sciences, having obtained a First Class BSc (Hons) from the University of East London and a PGCE from King's College London. I have six years of experience as a biology teacher. In my roles, I drive innovation and excellence in science education, by facilitating workshops, mentoring colleagues, and developing resources and strategies. My core competencies include biology, organization skills, and laboratory skills. My goal is to inspire and empower the next generation of scientists and leaders.
