About Hamilton Green
I am a first-generation doctorate with expertise and a passion for bacteriology. I am currently applying my knowledge as an infectious disease fellow with the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Through the APHL-CDC fellowship, fellows are stationed at federal, state, or tribal public health laboratories to learn, assist, and contribute to daily public health tasks. As an APHL fellow, I have the privilege of working at the Tennessee Department of Health Division of Laboratory Services, where I support the onboarding of various protocols through verifications and validation studies for the Antimicrobial Resistance Laboratory Network (ARLN) department. Long term, I am eager to expand my expertise in public health with the goal of working in health communications or as a public health scientist.
