About Hamish Walmsley
Coming from Retail Management in the largest company in the world, I had large expectations that my next professional venture would challenge me and have scale to make significant difference in the world. This lead me to launch First Press Coffee in 2013 with an idea to disrupt the RTD (Ready to drink) coffee market both nationally and the world. Our vision at First Press is to fight an archaic retail coffee market that has normalised low quality coffee, milk and sugar. We have done this by using a unique extraction of specialty coffee to bring a smooth, pure black coffee that tastes great and makes you feel fantastic. In my role at First Press I have built and engineered unique machinery that can brew cold drip coffee on scale. In addition to managing production at First Press, I manage marketing, online sales and finance. I have a passion for innovating processes in production and digital marketing as we manage rapid growth.
