I am a dedicated researcher and postdoctoral fellow with a PhD in Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods, currently advancing research at the University of Naples Federico II. My expertise lies in natural products chemistry, with a primary focus on nutraceuticals, functional foods, and bioactive compounds that support good health. Through my work, I have authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications, multiple book chapters, and serve as an editorial board member and peer reviewer for reputed journals, affirming my commitment to excellence and scientific integrity.My research has received multiple honors, including the MEDWELL Best PhD Thesis Award, the Dra. Mariola Macías Award, and the Best Researcher Award, underscoring my contributions to the fields of nutraceutical science and natural product chemistry. My current projects involve transforming agri-food by-products into sustainable, health-boosting food ingredients, which I pursue through innovative analytical and molecular techniques to uncover new therapeutic potentials in food science.In addition to research, I am deeply invested in mentorship, guiding both PhD and Master’s students in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific communication. Collaborating with research teams across Europe and Asia, I bring an interdisciplinary approach to my work, drawing on principles from pharmacology, chemistry, and food science to deliver scientifically robust, impactful solutions for modern healthcare.
