About Hamsharan Mahalingam

As the founder, CEO, CTO, and CPO of Lotus Addiction Therapy, I am passionate about creating innovative solutions that help people overcome their addiction challenges. I have over 10 years of experience in product management, software engineering, and leadership, working on various web and mobile applications across different domains and platforms. I have a MBA from Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Computer Science from University of Waterloo, as well as multiple certifications in React, Treefrog Accelerator, and Schulich Mini-MBA. Previously, I was the head of product and engineering at Tenure, a startup that connects employees and employers. I led a team of 20+ members, including developers, designers, QA, and product managers, and delivered features and products that improved user retention, engagement, and conversion. I used a data-driven approach to prioritize tasks, roadmap features, and communicate transparently with internal and external stakeholders. I also worked as a senior software engineer at Pixelnyx, a gaming /music creators company, where I developed frontend and backend features using React, Typescript, NodeJS, and AWS. I enjoy working with cross-functional teams, building rockstar teams, and learning new technologies and skills.
